Whelp, titanium is one of the best non-stick surfaces known to man-kind. A well seasoned cast iron pan may have it beat tho.. maybe.

No bullshit non-stick coatings. It will do nothing but pill away as time goes on anyway (trust me i know).



Now im the type of person that loves eating healthy, i try to make every meal i prepare as low in fat as possible.

With my scanpan ctx set im able to pre-pair more healthy meals for my 2 daughters (Brittney & Kayla).



Fridays are always turkey burger night with home made potato wedges. Im cook my turkey burgers with no oil...

Imma say it again, I COOK MY TURKEY BURGERS WITH NO OIL!!!


To cook my home made wedges i just use 3 simple moves..


* Slice my potato wedges..


* Season my wedges and..


* Place the wedges in my oven via my scanpan frying pan (yea its oven safe also).


But enough about my cooking practices lol. FYI: Titanium is super easy to clean.

Yea, yea, yea, my scanpan ctx cookware did place a small dent in my bank account, but i feel its well worth it. I look at it more as an investment than anything.

*2 Ok.. so how well does titanium cookware conduct heat?


Um lol. Titanium does a horrible job at conducting heat. Cookware made from total titanium sucks for this one reason.

For that reason im sure glad my scanpan ctx cookware is also made from 5-Layer clad recycled aluminum-stainless steel with a ceramic titanium surface.



*3 Is cookware made with titanium heavy?


I dont believe so. My scanpan ctx cookware is amazingly light.

This is one reason why i purchased a scanpan ctx set for my grandmother Ms Louise Foster.


She's 70 years old and loves cooking. But she also has arthritis so light weight cookware is a must for her in my mind.

Look, there are tons of different cookware on the market today. But cookware made with titanium just seems to hold up alot better than than other makes i have owned in the past.



If your one of those people who still cook with pots and pans coated with a non-stick surface..

YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF.


FYI: Pans coated with non-stick surfaces (Teflon) release toxic gases after reaching high temps which can kill birds and has the potential to cause birth defects.

Yes, cookware containing titanium is very safe, very non-stick, and very durable.

Scanpan ctx review-


Hey how you doing today my friend? I was recently given the opportunity to test out the scanpan ctx cookware.


Im so excited to do this scanpan ctx review and tell you about a fantastic brand of cookware i have been using for the past 6 months, Scanpan CTX.



I truly believe my Scanpan ctx set will last a lifetime. A close friend/restaurant owner (Tyson) turned me on to Scanpan after receiving some damn good results at his restaurant.

Did you know that this cookware is multi-layer fused which means ultra quick and even heat distribution throughout the whole cookware.


Here's what I liked about it: THE PROS-


The recycled aluminum core is smooth with Ceramic Titanium PFOA free Non stick surface inside.

I really love the fact this cookware is..


* Oven and..


* Broiler safe..

Which means im able to bake my home made french fries in my scanpan frying pan, (just did it lastnite lol).

The lids are made from stainless glass which allows me to watch my food as it cooks.



Washing these pans are super simple because of its effective non-stick coating, but since im lazy i just throw them in my dishwasher lol.

The scanpan ctx cookware comes with a lifetime warranty, but since the cookware will probably last a lifetime.. i could care less about the warranty.


My Scanpan ctx cookware came with..


* My 8 inch and 10-14 inch scanpan frying pan(s)..


* My 2 quart and 2-3/4 quart saucepans with covers..


* My 10-1/4 inch saute pot with cover and..


* My 7-1/2 quart dutch oven with cover.


Last year i ordered a set for my girlfriends cousin (Jasmine) and gave it to her as a Christmas present.

Get this, she calls me 2 weeks later and explains how this is the best non-stick cookware she has ever owned and the fact that its induction stove compatible is the icing on the cake.



She also goes into expressing how shes so attracted to me and wishes i would dump her cousin to be with her.. blah blah blah blah (another story for another time buddy).


What I didn't like about it: THE CONS-


This cookware isnt cheap by a long shot (damn near 1000 bucks). After reviewing the positive Scanpan ctx reviews, I ordered my Scanpan CTX set from Amazon.com for $875 bucks with free shipping included, but its worth every single red cent.


THE VERDICT:


The surface of my pans are scratch free, which surprises me because im always scraping inside them with forks and knifes lol.

All and all.. im happy with my scanpan cts cookware purchase.


The fact that i probably dont have to buy cookware ever again gives me every right to tell you this.. YOUR COOKWARE SUCKS.

But seriously, if your a serious cook or just enjoy the craft.. you need Scanpan in your life friend. I hope i have been helpful, enjoy and have a wonder day :)
